The Sweet Spot could soon have its success rewarded with a sweet deal. WCC President Larry Whitworth and Associate Vice President of Facilities Development and Operations Damon Flowers each confirmed that talks are under way to give the baked goods sales kiosk, which makes as much as $200 a day in revenue and earns more than Garrett’s restaurant on some days, more space for its operation.
The most discussed option thus far has been to move the bakery into the Washtenaw Voice office, with the college’s newspaper possibly sharing space with incoming copy service provider in what is now the room occupied by ICON.
