Social Awareness Symposium

WCC’s Political Science Club, Black Student Union and Out-Space host a social awareness discussion called “Word Up” every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Center. The event is free and open to all. Guest speakers provide perspective on a variety of social and civil rights issues including marriage equality, income inequality, the prison system, healthcare and education.
