Every semester, WCC hosts a Welcome Day for students to interact with different clubs and organizations that are on or around campus. Students look at different clubs and organizations that catch their interest.

Calla Berry and Eliza Adkins, WTMC students, admire an eastern fox snake on the Leslie Science and Nature Center table.

A Giant African Bull Frog sits in its tank, posing for a picture, at the Leslie Science and Nature Center table. On certain Sundays, the Critter House has free open hours.

Jana Aboud, a clinical psychology student here at WCC, and Mario Clark, an operator at Big Picture Photo Booth, look at the picture that was set up in Garret’s.

Jeyome Howell and Ethan McElmeel, from human services, play a video game on a TV that the eSports club had set up in Garretts.

Andrew Whitebell, an APOST student, discusses Marine life with William Knight, a sergeant in the Marines.

Molly Ledermann, a WCC Librarian, and Isaac Salomon, an Environmental Science Student, talk as Salomon comes to volunteer at the Bailey Library table.

Takiyah Parker, a financial wellness consultant from Key Bank, shares with students how Key Bank can help them.

Lisa Brown, a PSC Early Childhood Education Staff, and Latash Askew, an Early Childhood Education Student, talk as Askew checks into Welcome Day.

Kathy Gray and Mike Wallace, Harm Reduction Outreach Specialists from Home of New Vision (a Nonprofit specializing in Therapy, Recovery, and Change) pose for a picture at their table. Home of New Vision offers training on how to use Narcan.

WTMC students Jarnnah Kasham, Farida Kahia, and Iiham Kahla listen as the volunteers at the management booth share about modeling opportunities.

Roham Sharbatdarn, a business major here at WCC, checks into Welcome Day and grabs the food served in Garretts.

WCC’s mascot, Alpha, poses for a photo at Welcome Day.
