The Michigan Art Gallery at Schmidt’s Antiques proudly announces the opening of a major retrospective exhibition, featuring over fifty never-before-seen European and American landscape paintings as well as portraits by renowned local Ann Arbor artist Leon Makielski (1885–1974).

Catherine Chalmers: An Artist’s Journey Into the Wild

Catherine Chalmers showcases complex forms in her artwork, intertwined by nature and science. Having earned one degree from Stanford and one from the Royal College of Art, Chalmers is quite the seasoned artist. She has also won several awards for her artwork and short films.

Handmade Felt Food: Cherries

Learn how to make toy food (Cherries) with this beginner level craft for adults, using felt and braided embroidery. AADL staff will be on hand to offer assistance. Newcomers to seasoned knitters welcome!

Saline Community Fair

Saline community fair will be a fun dynamic of the city and country life. This year, there will be a kids’ and adult talent show as well as a concert for Three Men and a Tenor. The theme for the fair this year: All for Fun and Fun for All.

First Friday Food Court
